Rules of Conduct
Road Area
1. Speed limit in the park is 5 mph.
2. Visitors are to park in designated areas.
3. Please do not park on turn-around-apron near boat launch.
4. No bicycle riding permitted in park.
Site Area
1. For sites #17-23, down by the water, The State Board of Health requires all sewage and gray water be caught in closed containers and disposed of properly. Please wash down and secure lid on the station after each use. All other sites have direct sewer hookup.
2. Quiet hours are from 11pm to 7am Indiana time. Be considerate of your neighbors; keep music and voices low at all times. Renters are responsible for their guest.
3. Sites are to be kept neat and attractive. Campers are to maintain their own sites or make arrangements for mowing. Mower is available in the garage.
4. No outside refrigerators.
5. Notice must be given in writing, with details of major improvements and permission granted before any improvements are made to the site
6. One R.V. per site is allowed. Sleeping is not allowed in vehicles or tents.
7. All R.V.’s must have #12 wire between electric outlets and camping unit.
8. Water connection requires a special hose for drinking water. (blue stripes on a white hose).
9. One storage shed per site is permitted. We recommend the Rubbermaid type. Additional sheds need approval.
10. Firewood must be stored in a rack at least 12” off the ground.
Pets
1. Permission must be granted for your pet prior to leasing a site. No aggressive or exotic breeds allowed. No more than 2 dogs per site allowed.
2. Keep your pet LEASHED AT ALL TIMES.
3. Pick up and dispose of your animal’s waste.
4. Pet must kept from excessive barking
5. Do not leave pet unattended.
Lake & Shore
1. One boat slip assigned per site. Additional boats slips may be rented.
2. No parking on the gravel turn-around.
3. Piers must be maintained. Do not use old tires as bumpers.
4. Please do not throw fishing hooks or line on the ground.
General
1. The recreation hall is for everyone to use. Respect others, keep it clean.
2. Parents are responsible for the conduct of their children. Make sure they understand and obey the park rules.
3. Profane language and drunkenness will not be tolerated.
4. Renters are responsible for their guests and overnight payment.
5. Electric heaters are prohibited.
6. Refuse must be put into bins for pick-up. Monday is pick up day.
7. Consult owner before the sale of your R.V. R.V.’s sold in the campground may not stay in the campground without the permission by the owner of Pow Wow Point. RV's older than 20 years will not be allowed to be sold and stay in the campground.
8. Children are to be at R.V. site by 10 pm.
9. Minor children are not permitted be left on the grounds unless supervised by a knowing adult.
10. Children are required to wear a life jacket when playing near the water.
11. Park not responsible for lost or stolen articles
